Wedding Decor Trends That We Love

We are seeing a lot of great trends in wedding decor that we absolutely love! Ribbon adds a fun creative touch to your wedding day. Seen here it is used as a focal point backdrop.
Traditionally, baby's breath was used as a filler for other flowers like roses. Have you seen the way baby's breath is being used to stand alone now? It can be very romantic.
We saved the best for last. Sequins add all the sparkle you could ever ask for to your big day. Colors like black or gray can be very elegant.
Have fun deciding on what decor style that fits your style. Happy planning! Photo Photo Photo

Congratulations Alycia & Ralph (Part 2)

A picture is worth a thousand words! You can see how happy and how much fun the bride and groom had on their wedding day.
Speaking of fun, I had a lot of fun designing the flowers for the wedding. I used colorful mango calla lilies, button mums, hypericum berries, fern curls, stock, Nora orchids, trick dianthus, and curly willow branches to give the bride what she envisioned.
My team and I set up lots of personal details like a creative clothes line full of pictures of the bride and groom through the years.
Guest loved finding their table from the escort card trees.
The reception was at the Payne Corley House which fit in well with the bride's "there's no place like home" theme.
The front lawn of the venue was all aglow with trees lighting up the night.
The design of the branches on the wedding cake flowed nicely with the curly willow branches in all of the bouquets.
We filled the table with several flavors of homemade jam that the bride and her mother made for guest favors.
The guest sent the happy couple off with an exciting sparkler exit. Congratulation to the happy couple from Your Champagne Wishes Events! Photo

Congratulations Alycia & Ralph (Part 1)

They had me at hello! I was delighted to be a part of Alycia and Ralph's fall wedding.
When the bride described her vision for their wedding, it included the colors champagne and chocolate brown.
I guess you noticed the shoes. Did I mention that there's no place like home? It was the theme of the wedding. (You will see more later.)
This wedding was all about the details, right down to the guy's cufflinks.
It was important to the couple that they didn't see each other before the ceremony, but Alycia sure had her fun teasing Ralph before she walked down the church's center aisle.
Holy Spirit Catholic Church is beautiful church. I loved the stained glass windows.
I had so much fun designing the flowers for this wedding. The bride said it was the best bouquet she has ever seen!.
Stay tuned for part 2! Photos

Where to Say "I Do"

So now that you are engaged, once of the first and most important decisions that you and your fiance need to make is where you two should say, "I do". You know what they say, location...location...location.
That doesn't mean that you have to get married in a church and have your reception in a ballroom though. If your style is southern, why not try a barn? You may be surprised what rental items can do for the decor.
An outdoor wedding doesn't mean it has to be in a garden. A courtyard or in front of a tree are romantic and creative options as well. Whatever you decide, make it reflect your style.
